Polly Lockitt Photoshoot

I had a lovely shoot with Polly Lockitt yesterday at her flat in Orpington. It started off even better as Polly has a habit of laying on something to eat for the photographer: in my case, a sausage bap! Fabulous!

The shoot was really a test shoot to see if we clicked artistically and we did: Polly’s a great model to work with and her photos really don’t do her justice. Some great nudes and some lovely lingerie shots. Time didn’t permit us to really go to town – that’ll teach us for nattering away during the shoot!

Some of the results are in the Lingerie, Artistic and Headshot albums.

Hollywood Themes with Anita De Bauch

Well, despite my growing concern that I’m working with the fabulous Anita De Bauch too often – she seems to have become my ‘go-to model’ – I did a Hollywood-themed shoot at Chez De Bauch at the weekend. Anita was the perfect hostess, making me decent coffee and laying on some snacky goodness during the shoot too!

Edits are being done when I can find some time, but in the meantime, I’ve uploaded a couple to the Headshots and Lingerie pages:

De Bauch Boudoir

Skydive Fail Redux

Another great weekend: an early-ish start for me, as I had another photoshoot planned with the fab Anita De Bauch at her home in North London. She’s a great hostess as well as model: knowing I’m watching my weight and love my coffee, she’d laid on decent coffee and some very low calorie snacks to munch on during the shoot, which was on a Hollywood/Film Noir/Boudoir theme.

Some great results already despite my not really having much if any time for edits on Saturday afternoon before I headed over to Epsom for Dinner and a film: the really rather dull “Paranormal Activity 2”.

Sunday morning and off we went over towards Swindon for  our second attempt at skydiving … and our second postponement, again due to weather. Grr! Trying again in October.

Back to Epsom before heading out for an 11.5 miles bike ride over the downs and country parks accompanying GT who’s doing another half marathon in a couple of weeks and hasn’t really trained. Trained? Trust me, she doesn’t need to: she treated it with disdain like a stroll to the shops. Awesome, as they say…

More De Bauchery!

A great shoot at the weekend with the multi-talented Anita De Bauch, dodging the rain showers to shoot some street fashion latex-wear along the Thames as well as some lifestyle shots over a well-earned lunch.

It’s marvelous working with such a talented and professional model who’s also such a nice person!

It was also good to use my new Canon EOS 7D and the Speedlight as a ‘strobe’ off-camera.

Updates can be found in the Fetish and Lifestyle galleries.

August Booked Up!

OK, that’s August accounted for: a shoot in Kent (outside and inside) and another shoot (street fashion, latex and mainstream lifestyle) with the fabulous Anita De Bauch, who’s also left me some great feedback over on Purestorm:

“I shot with Richard and Madame Bink at Light Spot Studio on 30th July and would happily do so again. He was punctual, friendly, polite and professional, and we were both delighted with the photos. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone and am already planning my next shoot with him!”

In other news, I’ve ordered some new kit: a Canon EOS-7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and a Canon Speedlite 580EX II flashgun for external work, mainly, though I may use it with my Bowens Gemini 200 Kit lights too as a trigger and bounce/fill-in flash.
